Rebecca Chappelear is a photographic and digital-media artist as well as an arts educator with the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Her work has been exhibited in her home state of Virginia as well as in Washington, DC, Maryland, West Virginia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and online.

She holds a BFA in Photography & Computer Imagery from Shepherd University’s Department of Contemporary Art and an MFA in Photography & Integrated Media from Lesley University’s College of Art and Design.

Rebecca lives in Wilmington, North Carolina and, taking full advantage of that fact, can often be found alongside her partner, toddler, and dog at Wrightsville beach.
